I'll do the appropriate blog post later, but the part about the 8 random facts intrigues me, so I am going to do that here. When I actually play the game and post the whole thing on my blog, the random facts will probably be different, as I have lived long enough by now to have accumulated quite a bit of randomness.

So let's see now:

1. When I was a freshman in college, I attended several John Birch Society meetings, for which I have long since repented.

2. I once recited a lengthy passage from Dante's Inferno, in the original Italian, during a job interview. (I was one of three people who were conducting the interview.)

3. My favorite television program of all time is "Bonanza," followed closely by "M*A*S*H."

4. I have lived in eight states and two foreign countries.

5. In the eight presidential elections in which I have voted, I voted for the winning candidate five times, the losing candidate three times.

6. I'm a devout Mormon who loves skinny-dipping -- which, unfortunately, I can no longer do because we moved recently. The house we lived in for the previous four years was surrounded by a high concrete wall, which afforded privacy galore. I took full advantage of that fact, and every single day between mid-March and late October I would swim laps in that pool, sometimes two or three times per day, but invariably in the nude.

7. The three human qualities I most admire are courage, sensitivity, and humor, in that order.

8. Nearly everyone tells me I look at least ten years younger than my age, which is 54.

Well, now you know some things about me that others don't! Have a great day, Vicki. :-)
