Yohana + Pat – Southford Falls, Oxford, CT Engagement Session Photos
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009When Erik and I first met Yohana and Pat we totally fell in love. As they told us the story of how they met and and started dating I got goosebumps and a bit misty as it reminded me of my favorite love story in Love Actually. Yohana had recently moved to this country and was learning to speak English. When she and Pat met and started dating their verbal communication was limited, but they just knew…and they truly are a perfect fit. They have the qualities I most admire in people – they are full of life and laughter, and therefore a blast to be around, and they have a good sense of humor (with a healthy dose of sarcasm)! Erik and I had so much fun spending the afternoon with them at Southford Falls in Oxford.
Yohana says she like hiding in the leaves.
They make each other laugh.
How cute are they??
I told you – a perfect fit ; )
They both have gorgeous eyes.
We walked down toward the bottom part of the falls and they were both decided to climb down the steep sides to get closer. Erik and I were happy about that ; ) This is my view.
This is Erik’s view.
We love this one!
I love this shot so much – it totally shows their personalities and sense of humor. Pat was cracking us up!!
Back to to top of the falls. Erik captured this awesome reflection.
While I was shooting this.
This one makes me happy ; )
Cute!
Super Cute!
Extra Super Cute!
I was loving the clouds.
Down by the pond the reflections were perfect!
I love the sky in this one.
Jumping for joy!
And, of course, the ring!!
Thank you Yohana and Pat for spending the afternoon with us and making us laugh so much! We had so much fun with you and we can’t wait for your wedding in a couple of weeks!!
