Carmina + Anthony – Waterview, Monroe, CT Wedding Photos
Friday, October 21st, 2011When you get the opportunity to work with as many gorgeous and cool people as we do, the temptation to throw around superlatives becomes difficult to overcome, and we run the risk of sounding like a broken record. I mean come on, do Vicki and Erik really mean everything they post on their blog? We have been accused of saying complimentary things during photo shoots by our couples that are convinced we are just being nice to butter them up. But know this – we truly mean everything we say, and we do this because we wouldn’t choose to do what we do day in and day out if we didn’t love our jobs. We aren’t millionaires, and photographing as many events as we do in a year is hard work, which doesn’t even include all of the editing, sorting, and physical products we design (and no we don’t hang out by the pool during the week, just in case you were wondering ) – we do what we do because we love being around great people who are experiencing some of the happiest moments in their lives with each other, and we not only get to photograph them, but share experiences that continue to nourish our inner artists.
Soooo, with all of that being said, our next super duper in love and ridiculously hot couple for our loyal blog viewers is (drum roll please) Carmina & Anthony, who many of you will remember from not only our header at the top, but also from their amazing Brooklyn Bridge engagement session. Some of our favorite details from the day were her Matthew Christopher gown, and her Laura Jayne Hair Comb complemented the beautiful Boutique de Voile veil she wore. Anthony looks handsome no matter what he is wearing, and one of the things not shown was the removable cast to help heal his damaged Achilles tendon he hurt just weeks before their wedding. Even though he was in pain, he rocked the portraits and made every picture of the two of them look totally natural and effortless. Vicki and I loved the vintage car Carmina arrived to the ceremony in (which made for some great shots as well), and the flowers by Just for You Floral Design Studio were only topped by all of the amazing details executed flawlessly by Amanda Barbara of Amanda Barbara Events. If all of this wasn’t enough, Anthony had designed custom Nike shoes with the wedding date and wedding party title for all of his groomsmen and best man. We know for a fact that Carmina is very excited for these pictures as she just recently tweeted that through some detective work, she deduced that her blog post was coming up next, and she can’t wait. Well Carmina, the wait is over!
