Beth + Joe are a gorgeous expectant couple and were so much fun to photograph. They recently relocated from Manhattan into a new home, and are preparing for the birth of their first child. Beth is one hot momma with the most perfectly adorable belly – and wow are they both photogenic! It was so great to work with a couple so in love, and to be able to document this special time in their life. I can’t wait to meet their new bundle of joy when she arrives . The weather here in CT has been so amazing the past few days I had almost forgotten how much snow we had this year. One of my favorite things about living in New England is the change of seasons. When they change I always feel very grateful for the new season we are in, and a bit nostalgic for the one that just passed. After being in the cold so long, I am really aware when the sun comes out. There is a new smell in the air – spring! Although I am not the biggest fan of winter (or I should say the cold weather) there is such beauty in every season here that you just can’t experience anywhere else. As a farewell to winter, here are some photos I made during our last snow storm.

It was another cold winter day (we all had to take “movie star trailer” breaks in the car to get warmed back up again!), but Ashley and Mike did such a wonderful job of being themselves and not looking like they were freezing! As we moved from spot to spot during the shoot we had such a great time getting to know them better – laughing about funny moments in our lives, talking about yoga, and discussing their trials and tribulations with purchasing their first home. We really enjoyed our time together with them and love their chemistry. It was cold to be sure, but also a lot of fun.

Ashley and Mike, thank you both for spending the afternoon with us and letting us get to know you better . We are very excited for your wedding and can’t wait to see you again!
