Some highlights from Mardi & Chris’s wedding! Enjoy!
Lindsey aka Mrs. Onion is one of 50-70 brides or brides-to-be blogging on Weddingbee. She was at Kerri & Jay’s wedding this past weekend and just let me know that she posted on her blog about the wedding (and me!). I am so excited and honored to be blogged about! Have a look at her post HERE, and learn more about Kerri & Jay’s wedding. She also let me know that she had blogged about their engagement session a little while back – HERE. How flattering ; ) This truly made my day. Thanks Mrs. Onion!
Oh my. I am not even sure how to begin writing about this past Saturday’s wedding! First let me warn you that this is going to be a long post. It was an amazing day – perfect weather, and everyone looked so beautiful. Erik & I met up with Kerri & the ladies at the Courtyard Marriott in Manchester, CT.

Her gown is so beautiful:
LOVE this shot Erik took – reminds me of a still from an Italian film:
final touches:
Then we headed down to see what the guys were up to. Jay putting on his tie:
Here he is with the wedding bands! I like to get this shot – it it also my gentle reminder to the Groom that he may want to know where the rings are ; )
Jay was looking very handsome:
Then we met up with the ladies again. Here is Kerri looking amazing!!
One of the many cool personal touches of the day – Kerri made her bridesmaids these awesome “strap-on” knives – think Tomb Raider. It was one of the most awesome ideas ever! Check out these sexy bridesmaids and bride!
We headed to the ceremony & reception at Wickham Park in Manchester. It was my first time there, and it is such an amazing place for a wedding!
Kerri walking down the aisle:
Jay’s reaction:
They’re married!!
Then off for some formal portraits:
Jay had a place in mind for shooting more pictures – it was a little way into the woods….and SO worth the time it took to get there!
On our way there….
I am so glad Jay knew about this place – I LOVE bridges (and duck’s)!
And this pond – with an asian flair. My favorite of the day!
I love a little flare sometimes:
Back at the cabin, we were checking out the cake:
and some bling!
We loved the moose head in the cabin:
Another of Kerri & Jay’s awesome personal touches at the wedding – cutting the cake with a Samurai Sword!
The first dance:
I had an AMAZING time at this wedding – Erik & I have been talking about it for days now. Kerri & Jay thank you SO much for having us – I laughed and cried all day, and you guys are one amazing couple. Thank you to your family & friends for welcoming us and being amazing people. Love, Erik & Vicki
