Vicki and I recently headed up to Wickham Park in Manchester to photograph yet another hot couple, Cherie & Steve! We had all kinds of fun walking through the gardens taking in the gorgeous surroundings and hanging out with them for their engagement photos. One of the coolest parts of Wickham Park is that there are different themed gardens that have something fun to photograph in each, as well a white bridge spanning a beautiful pond with some killer reflections. We think they look pretty great together, and our cameras love them too .

Cherie & Steve, we know your wedding is going to be amazing and we can’t wait! If these photos are any indication, we are going to be blown away on your big day too .

Any time Vicki and I are asked what our favorite locations are to photograph in Connecticut, there is always one spot that comes first in our minds and is at the top of our list – Harkness Park in Waterford. There really isn’t much that it doesn’t have, from the beautiful beach, to the blooming gardens and the Eolia Mansion itself. Every time we visit, there is something new to see and different flowers in bloom . So it goes without saying that if one of our couples can’t decide on a location to have their engagement photos or wedding reception that we jump at the chance to take a drive up and be inspired! Kim and Jeff received the grand tour with us, and we all had fun talking about their son’s 1 year birthday party, and their wedding plans while we were in between taking photos. These two were a perfect match to all of the gorgeous scenery surrounding them, and even were down for taking of their shoes and walking through some pretty cold ocean water to climb up on a beach rock for some killer photos at the end of the shoot! We think they look great together, and you can easily see how in love they are. Have a look and see what we mean!

Vicki and I are excited to share our latest engagement session with all of you! Jeff and Nicha live right around the corner from us in Stratford, CT, and we were excited when they told us after scouring the coast for the perfect beach for their session, that they chose a couple of beaches in our hometown. One of the things we love about our job is that we get to explore so many new and different locations with our couples, whether on their wedding day, or at an engagement shoot. We love the beaches they chose! One of them had seriously the biggest pile of shells we had ever seen (which we had to incorporate into their photos of course ), and beautiful outcroppings of rocks that were just begging to be photographed. And Nicha + Jeff were the perfect accompaniment to it all! You can see just how into each other they are, and they are just super cute.

Jeff & Nicha, we had such a great time hanging out with you and can’t wait for your wedding later this year (it’s coming soon!).
