Another day, another fabulous wedding! Vicki and I were in and around Hartford for Andrea & Liam’s wedding, and it was yet another perfect fall day for some seriously sweet photographs. Not only were we enamored with Andrea and Liam, we absolutely fell in love with her wedding gown (totally elegant, with a little bit of sass, not unlike Andrea herself), the pocket watch she gave to her handsome groom Liam (pocket watches may be one of our absolute favorite things about this year), and the locations throughout the day. We simply loved the church where the ceremony was held (Farmington is one of our favorite towns in CT), the location of their formals with all of it’s old brick and slate roofs, and of course the Town & Country Club, which had so many cool nooks and crannies all of which were done up splendidly with candles and flowers by De Vars Phillips. There wasn’t anything not to love about the day, and Andrea & Liam totally glowed through all of it .

Andrea & Liam, congratulations to you both! We loved all of the thought and care you put into your day. It certainly was a tremendous opportunity to showcase the two of you through our photographs . Be sure to tell us all about your honeymoon / road trip (I think Vicki and I are overdue for one, and yours sounds awesome!), and we know this is just the start to an amazing journey together!

When two people who are so deeply in love that every moment they share together in front of our cameras gives us the best kind of goosebumps, we are reminded why we love our jobs so very much. And we mean job in the loosest way possible, because what we get to do day in and day out is essentially renew our vows, be present for some of the best parties around, and oh by the way, take some pictures while we are at it! We can’t begin to say enough great things about how much we love Michelle and Tyler. They are such beautiful people, inside and out, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. We absolutely LOVED their engagement session in Kent Falls, and we got a really good idea about how much fun we were going to have being with them on their wedding day . And it was a sweet day! From Michelle’s Manolo Blahnik’s (we have already established Vicki’s obsession with shoes, so I won’t say anything further), to her incredible wedding gown and gorgeous Flowers by Danielle, the stage was set for magic. Tyler was looking pretty studly himself (even when holding Michelle’s flowers we might add!), and the Waterview looked absolutely magnificent with the falls leaves just starting to show on the hills surrounding it. In case you will be wondering in the photos below about how we managed to sneak their rings into a fishbowl, and why there was even a fish there to begin with, all we can say is that we asked Michelle if she trusted us with their rings, and she said “Absolutely!” As for the fish itself, you just had to be there, but we over heard a little something about “Petco”, and Tyler making a new home for a goldfish, in his stomach, on a bet .

Michelle and Tyler, you guys had an incredible day, and we were so happy that we got to be on hand to photograph it all. I especially liked the chocolate fountain, and it’s pretty safe to say that if you have been reading our blog at all in the past year, you know what Vicki was going on and on about on the way home. That and the goldfish, and quite possibly about the photo right above
