Jen + Neal’s wedding at the Wadsworth Mansion was classically elegant, and when we look at the blog post of just some of our favorite images of the day, we have a sense that their wedding could have happened in any time period, and will certainly be just as incredible looking 100 years from now when their images get passed down from generation to generation. Jen is an accomplished photographer herself, and together, she and Neal had an amazing vision for how the day would be. It certainly got our creative juices flowing to be around other creative people, and there certainly wasn’t anything less than a ton of wonderful and amazing things to photograph…and we love Jen & Neal and their extremely sweet and loving families as well . It was just an all around magical day, and we were truly blessed to be on hand to document it all!

Jen & Neal, you two know how to throw an amazing party and host an off the hook wedding! The food was exquisite, the ceremony (which was officially the shortest and sweetest ceremony ever) was touching and emotional, and the interaction between you and your family made for some truly memorable moments. And you both looked absolutely incredible! Thank you for everything, and we can’t wait to grab lunch and talk about making pictures .

When the light is just right, and all of the careful planning that goes into a wedding neatly settles into all of the predetermined spaces, you get the kind of day that Katie + Chris had for their wedding. To say that it was an exquisite day pretty much hits the nail on the head, and we really couldn’t have asked for more than what we were presented with. We returned near to the location of Katie + Chris’s wonderful engagement session, and were immediately struck by Katie’s gorgeous wedding dress and the beautiful purples in her shoes and her bridesmaids dresses. The purple goodness carried over into their reception and the stunning floral arrangements, and all together it was magical! Chris looked absolutely terrific as well, and he and Katie lit up every frame they were in with an intensity that everyone around them could feel. Like we said, exquisite. Vicki and I were positively vibrating with excitement putting Jacki + Keith’s wedding teaser together for the blog. Not only are these two smokin’ hot, and totally in love with each other, but they are really cool, down to earth & talented people (Keith is an accomplished musician and manages one of Mario Batali’s restaurants in NY). And a little about how they met for starters, since we loved hearing the story when we originally met with them, and again during their reception – Keith was Jacki’s boss for a period of time, and she must have made quite an impression on him because you will see below just how enamored Keith is with her . The Glen Island Harbor Club is one of our favorite places for a wedding ceremony and reception, and these two pulled out the stops to put together an incredible day. The flowers were amazing, Jacki’s dress looked beautiful (to begin with – Jacki made it look incredible wearing it!), her veil was our favorite and the food was delicious (not only with a full venetian room, but also with fresh pretzels grilled over coals for the guests on their way home, YUM!). It was, to put more succinctly, a charmed day with two rad people surrounded by a whole lot of people that felt the same way about them that we did . Oh, and Keith put his musical talent to use by serenading Jacki with a song he wrote for her in front of everyone at their wedding. Let me tell you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. How’s that for awesome?
