Diane + Joe. Everything about their wedding was a true joy to be a part of, and the day itself was about as iconic New Haven, Connecticut as you could get. The Omni Hotel where Diane got ready was a stone’s throw away from the Center Church on the Green, which was set across from the New Haven Green, and surrounded by city people enjoying the absolutely perfect late summer weather. It was an emotional ceremony to say the least, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when all was said and done! Not only did Diane and Joe look incredible together, their infatuation with one another, coupled with Diane’s elegance, and Joe’s striking presence made every shot we took of them give us pause to whisper to one another: “Wow! Are you seeing what I am seeing?”. It was pure magic at Lighthouse Point, followed by an action packed good time at Anthony’s Ocean View. We think we have the most fun / best jobs ever, and working with Diane & Joe certainly proves our point!

Diane + Joe, we love that you invited us to document all the wonderful happenings going on during your wedding day, and we spent the whole ride home unable to wait to begin looking through your photos . We are sure you had an amazing time in Maui and Kauai (a touch jealous by the way), and hope the buzz never wears off!

Sooooo… we were at Lauren and Chris’s wedding, quickly pausing before the ceremony to show each other some of our favorite pictures from Lauren and Chris getting ready, and Vicki would not stop talking about Lauren’s shoes and wedding gown. It would be remiss of me to not talk about them here, since they were the crown jewels to a simply incredible day that had us happily clicking away with our shutters from one location to the next – Lauren’s gorgeous Amsale gown which she purchased at Kleinfeld, and fabulous Christian Louboutin’s. There wasn’t a single moment about the day we didn’t absolutely love – the groomsmen and bridal party were really cool and a joy to get to know and hang out with, and Lauren and Chris’s details at their reception were fantastic. We totally loved the vintage Rolls Royce as well, and oh did I mention that the brides gown and the bridesmaids dresses had pockets? How about that I arrived with the bride and groom and the bridal party to the yacht club by boat? How cool is that? It was too much fun followed by a rocking band that were cheered on for two encores that culminated in make your own ice cream sundaes – a fitting end to a perfect day.
