Abby + Scott = totally adorable, in love, and heating up Central Park in NYC for our cameras! As our last engagement session of the year, there was a bit of a chill in the air, but that didn’t stop Abby & Scott from having fun and turning it on for Vicki & I – these two are going to have no problems looking amazing on their wedding day . They both are so charming – Scott has as much energy as I do (which is quite a bit) and loves telling stories, and Abby is the perfect counter with her patience, & sweet smile. Vicki and I had as much fun talking with them about everything and anything, as we did taking their pictures, and we got a hot tip on an amazing Turkish restaurant in West Haven CT, Saray (which we went to and loved, by the way). And to start the day off right (and finish in the car ride home!), they came bearing cookies, half of which didn’t make it back to our house . Good conversation & laughter with great people and delicious treats, what could be better?

Abby & Scott, thank you for everything and being so much fun to be around, and photograph. You both look incredible, and we can’t wait to see you guys again in June!

Vicki and I first met Nicole when we were both at our doctor’s office, and Nicole, who works there, happened to overhear us talk about work, and mentioned that she had just recently gotten engaged! One thing lead to another, and the next thing you know, we were spending the afternoon with her and Lou taking some pictures . Nicole and Lou met at the White Hills fire station in Shelton, where they both volunteered. It was an obvious choice (and one that both Vicki and I were excited about, I mean who doesn’t like fire trucks!) to have these two back there for some fantastic photos. We had a total blast hanging out with them and hearing the ins and outs of life at a fire house. We then headed the the beach in Stratford, where Lou proposed to Nicole. It was absolutely gorgeous there, and the sunset was spectacular. It was the perfect end to our day, accompanied by a “reenactment’ of Lou’s proposal. How sweet is that? We certainly were loving it, and we left Nicole and Lou with smiles on our faces

Nicole and Lou, thank you for bringing us into such wonderful moments and locations that have special meaning to you both, and we know that the rest of your days together will be filled with happiness!

Tracy & Fabio have the distinct privilege of being the first wedding post of 2011 – an honor bestowed upon them by the fact that theirs was the last wedding of 2010! I don’t know what it is about the couples we get, but each and every one of them have a knack for looking like they are on a movie set, and these two are certainly no exception. Tracy looked stunning in her gorgeous Modern Trousseau gown, with her super fabulous fur stole, and absolutely adorable shoes. Fabio looked just as handsome as we remembered him from their killer Boston engagement session. Together, they looked just smashing! Their church too, is one of our favorites, (the view from the balcony is pretty incredible) and we had the pleasure of photographing them nearby, as well as on the beautiful grounds at the Lake of Isles at the Foxwoods resort. And we could go on and on about all of the cool details at their reception, from the fun props at everyone’s table, to the rock candy favors (which just happened to be used for something other than eating as you will see in the last shot), and the venetian table accompanied by an espresso bar. It was the best way to end the year, and we left totally pumped, loving our jobs, and super grateful that we get to do this for a living. It just doesn’t get better than that

Tracy & Fabio, thank you both for just being awesome in general, and having such a gorgeous wedding for us to photograph! We still laugh when we think of the wild golf cart ride to and from the bridge at the Lake of Isles, and get warm and fuzzy all over again looking at the photos!
