Hi everyone! It has been a while since we have blogged – this is the first post of 2010. We have many great things in the works and some big announcements to make soon. For now, Erik and I wanted to thank all of our amazing brides and grooms from 2009. We had an incredible year with you and feel so honored to have been a part of your wedding day! We also want to thank you for saying great things about us to WeddingWire, as we were recently selected to receive the WeddingWire 2010 Bride’s Choice Awardsâ„¢ for Photography.

It is hard to believe, after such an incredible year, that this is the last blog post of 2009! And we couldn’t be happier to have our last blog post to feature such cool, fun and passionate people as Maria and Tom Anytime Erik and I head down to NYC, we know we are going to have an exciting time, and the day we spent with Maria and Tom was no exception! Maria and Tom had a clear idea of where they wanted to be photographed, so we strapped ourselves in and proceeded to tour the city, hitting locations that have special memories for these two. When everything was said and done, we were left with amazing moments that we feel blessed to have captured. Take a look at these pictures to see what we mean!

Maria and Tom, thanks for sharing your special memories with us, and allowing us to be there when even more were created! We can’t wait for your wedding in May, and we hope that this new year brings even more of the joy and happiness that follows the two of you wherever you go! Seriously, we cannot wait to spend the day with you again

It has truly been an incredible year for us, and it is hard to believe that this is our last wedding of 2009. There have been so many amazing moments, shared with some of the greatest people we know, and we are very excited to end our wedding season with Julia and Tom! These two had Erik and I, and our good friend and fellow photographer Robert Norman who joined us for the day, laughing all day long. The humor and joy they share is incredibly infectious . It may have been a chilly November day, yet you wouldn’t know it by how incredible these two look together. The paper details at the reception, all designed by the talented Adrienne Craig of Admire Design, were some of the coolest and most original we have seen, and every other detail followed suit to perfection. It was simply, a fantastic day spent with awesome people.

Julia and Tom, we love you guys, and we feel blessed to know you and have had the chance to be with you on your wedding day.
