It has been an amazing year. There have been so many incredible moments and memories made, that we feel as though we are overflowing with gratitude at times! That being said, the hits just keep on coming. Seriously, Alison and Tim’s wedding day was not to be missed. Not only do Alison and Tim know how to have a good time (their reception was off the hook), Alison’s attention to detail was readily apparent with all of her beautiful flowers, the really strikingly cool wedding cake, and her gorgeous wedding gown of course . By the way, and you’ll know which picture we are talking about when you see it, Tim’s imitation of “slapping the bass” from the movie “I Love You Man”, had us in stitches, and was just one more reason why we love them so very much. But enough out of us – have a look for yourselves!

Alison and Tim, it was such a pleasure to be with you, and your families and friends, on one of the most enjoyable days of the year! Erik and I left a little bummed that the day had to end, and we hope you guys continue to bring laughter and joy to everyone around you, for many many days to come!

Jenny & Roberto. These two have style. I mean, they had a croque en bouche (we are huge profiterole fans ) These two had such an amazing day filled with so many incredible moments. From Jenny’s gorgeous custom-jeweled Priscilla of Boston, Platinum gown, to Roberto revealing his “work tools” (Roberto makes his living as a member of the Yale S.W.A.T team) during the “getting ready” part of his day, their incredibly beautiful ceremony at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, to the amazing Sylvia Weinstock cake, culminating in their reception at the scene of their hot e-session at Eolia Mansion. It was truly a day to remember. There are so many moments during the day that Erik and I looked at each other with a silent (and sometimes not so silent ) “Wow!”, that it was truly difficult to narrow down the images to what we are offering as a sneak peek!

Isabel & Doug have one of the sweetest stories about how they met. When they were both in high school, Isabel had a huge crush on Doug, but Doug was in a long term relationship (Isabel confessed to writing poetry about him that she still has to this day, how adorable is that?). Fast forward to college, where they both went their separate ways but would return back home and run into each other at get togethers, and as they sat on the couch talking each time they saw each other, the distance between them would get closer…and closer…until Doug eventually leaned over and gave Isabel a kiss on the forehead . Then, six months into their dating, Isabel went to Paris, and Doug went to New Zealand (two of our favorite places, by the way!) and they spent their quiet time writing each other letters and talking on the phone until they could finally be near each other again. You know what they say, “absence makes the heart grow fonder”! Well it was apparent that these two totally dig each other, judging by the way they were fogging up our lenses

Isabel and Doug, we really had a wonderful time with you both. We happily ate the delicious apple cider doughnuts on the way home, officially spoiling our dinners . We look forward to being around your amazing energy at your wedding, and to have the opportunity to photograph such a hot couple all over again!
