We were so excited to see Caitlin and Matthew again at the Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield, CT. We hadn’t seen them since their engagement session last May and we were fired up to document their rehearsal dinner and meet their friends and family before the big day!

The torrential downpour stopped just long enough for us to sneak Caitlin and Matthew outside for some fun portraits.

Before they get married!

One of my favorites.

Just to the side of the hall, there were these extremely colorful boats that screamed out for us to photograph them with our hot couple!

The dim light really made the colors pop.

After dinner, the girls opened a gift from Caitlin.

At the end of the night Caitlin and Matthew, and the bridal party ran outside in the pouring rain to go on the swings!

We met up with Alison and Tim last weekend at Alison’s parents beach house in Old Lyme, CT. It was a beautiful day! Alison and Tim spend every weekend at the beach with her family, and this was where Tim proposed too. We were super excited to spend the afternoon with them! We learned that Tim is an author, and I can’t wait to read one of his books!

We started off on these rocks on the beach. We were loving the crashing of the waves against the rocks.

Like I said, it was a beautiful day!

I LOVE this one. The rocks had such a cool erosion pattern on them.

This is Erik’s favorite – we think Alison looks SO beautiful in this one.

The light was pretty awesome!!

Alison thought it might we fun to walk to this carousel down the street. She used to go there as a little girl and told us how excited she was to try to get the gold ring.

This one makes me smile ; )

I love this moment!

I think this may be my favorite though. I love the people in the window behind them looking in.

After getting a bit dizzy from riding backwards on the carousel we headed back to the beach. Cute!!!

The awesomeness continues…

We had a LOT of time for portraits – oh how we love when Bride’s plan for so much time. We started off at Hartford CIty Hall. Because their wedding was on 4th of July, the place was empty. It was weird being there without a whole bunch of other bride’s and groom’s, and wedding parties milling around.
