Not too long ago, one of my very best friends and her husband came to visit me & Erik for a couple of days. It was so awesome to see them – I hadn’t seen them since shortly after we moved here from San Francisco a little over a year ago. I can hardly believe it has been so long. I am missing San Francisco so much – especially now that Fall is here. I almost feel like I am back in SF! I think my friends were having a bit of a culture shock here in suburbia. Things don’t move nearly as quickly, and there aren’t many things to “see”..you know, like large (famous) bridges, incredible food, incredible shopping…you catch my drift.

Thank goodness they share a love of coffee, flowers, cemeteries, ducks, and good pizza and Italian pastry!
