Meaghan + Karthik – Shelton, CT Engagement Session photos
April 19th, 2009When we met with Karthik for the first time a few months back and he explained how they got engaged, our mouths dropped. It is, by far, the coolest proposal story we have ever heard. I won’t do it justice by repeating it in full here, but let’s just say it was a very well prepared and executed day-long scavenger hunt. Karthik sent Meaghan from one place to the next with elaborate clues, concluding with his proposal. And of course, Meaghan said yes! They drove down from Boston to meet us at one of our favorite location in Shelton, CT. The rain stopped just as we started to shoot!
Love the perspective in this one.
Yeah – they are adorable!
Love their smiles ; )
Railroad crossing.
My favorite – how awesome is Karthik’s smile??
Love these next few on the rocks.
Meaghan is working it here!
Off to our favorite bridge ; )

Love how Meaghan’s hair is blowing.

We walked to the other side of the bridge and found this cool building.

Relaxing on the steps.
There is that amazing smile again!
Feeling the love!
Meaghan and Karthik thank you so much for driving down and hanging out with us! We had so much fun with you both – you cracked us up the whole time, and made us love our job even more. Looking forward to your wedding!
PS I kept all the images in color for you ; )
