Karli + Andy – Hanover, NH Engagement Session Photos
April 22nd, 2009This past weekend Erik and I took the incredibly scenic drive up to Hanover, NH to meet up with Karli and Andy. It was cloudy for sure, and we were hoping the weather would hold out for us. Sure enough, as soon as we pulled up to the Dartmouth campus the rain began! Karli and Andy jumped in our car and we drove to Balch Hill to the spot where Andy proposed. We got out of the car and the rain stopped – divine intervention at it’s best ; )
Karli and Andy are one of those couples that just being around them makes you smile. The bond between them is powerful – you can feel it from miles away. The subtle looks, the smiles and giggles, and the constant hugging and physical closeness…I wouldn’t want to try to keep these two apart!
At the top of Balch Hill. We love cloudy days ; )
Did I mention Karli’s incredible eyes and smile?
And Andy too!
Balch Hill is gorgeous.
We love how they look at each other.
I love love love this shot that Erik got. Karli is stunning!
We just had to get a shot with their umbrella from Dartmouth, where they are about to graduate from.
The ring!
A perfect fit.
We walked back down through the trail, and the moss and leaves were glowing!
I love this shot!
And this one too ; )
We love this moment!
We fell in love with the moss on these rocks! And the light was fantastic!
This one makes me happy – they just adore each other.
My favorite! Karli is absolutely beautiful!
Karli and Andy we had so much fun spending the afternoon with you! Erik and I were philosophizing all the way home ; ) We feel so honored to work with you and we are excited for your wedding next year!!
xoxo,
Vicki + Erik

Ah! We love the shots! I’ve been so excited looking at them all day! My favorites are the first black and white one without the umbrella and the last two by the rocks! Andy loves the last three in general but thinks they’re all great! I’ve been asking all my family members for their personal favorites too. Everyone loves them and really appreciates the fact that our expressions and body language are so recognizably us. Plus, our Moms were quite teary while looking at the pictures. Thank you so much for coming up to Hanover and spending time with us. It was great to see you guys again! We are really thankful for how wonderful you and Erik are to work with and how awesome your pictures are. Thank you!

Very impressive subjects – you’re both gorgeous! I was completely hooked by photos 2, 3, and 4! In addition, I particularly like the umbrella shot. But truth be told, there isn’t a bad shot in the bunch! Thanks so much for sharing this with me!

The way they look it each other is so sweet, seems like you definitely captured them. All the shots with the mossy rocks are my favorites, but especially that last black and white one.
