Dave Matthews New York, NY
May 4th, 2009Yesterday Erik and I were shooting an engagement session in NYC and we happened to come across Dave Matthews – I think he was filming a video. We watched him walk through this cross walk a few times, and snapped some pictures of course! I know some of our clients are fans – so enjoy ; )

I have been a big fan of DMB for as long as I could remember (20 Concerts to date and an appearance on a DVD!) These are fun shots. Always something fun going on in NYC!

I LOVE Dave Matthews!!!! I would not have been able to contain myself had I been there! I am SO SO SO jealous!!!!!!! Great pictures!

Very cool!!! how random?! I met him back in high school. My friend and I snuck backstage by their bus at the New Haven Coliseum.

Crazy how you run into people in NYC. I have run into a ton of famous people over the past few years… one of these days I will actually have my camera.

I am so jealous!!! Going to concert number 23 in a couple weeks!! Cannot wait! I wish I was there when you got these shots! They are awesome photos as well!

People never know how to react to Dave. The thing you have to remember is he’s *not* full of himself. When he’s hamming it up for a camera it’s because he’s basically a class clown hiding how nervous he is, nothing more or less.
He’s also a genuinely nice guy by all accounts–so I’m curious to know the story behind him flipping the bird out there on the street, lol.
