Tyler + Ken – Woodway Beach Club, Stamford, CT Wedding Photos
October 13th, 2009Tyler and Ken. I am not even sure where to start. These two have a joie de vivre like no two people I have ever met. Individually, it is impossible not to smile when you are around either of them. When they are together, there is nothing quite like it. There was no shortage of laughter or tears at their wedding, beginning with their emotional first look, and their incredibly romantic and heartfelt ceremony where Ken sang a song he wrote and composed for Ty. Â I was practically weeping like a baby.
And then the party began led by the incredible Joe D’elia and the Allstar Band. These guys rock!!
Ceremony & Reception Venue: Woodway Beach Club, Stamford, CT

For fun, check out Ken and Ty’s fabulous wedding website.
Ty and Ken thank you so much!!! We had way too much fun at your wedding – it was better than a Metallica concert!! (blasphemy, I know). Thank you to your family and friends too for being so warm, welcoming and fun. We love you!

I might be completely biased, but I’m going to go with best. wedding. photos. ever. Am I right??? I am. You totally captured the feeling of the day, which was (for me) pure bliss. I’ve gone back to your blog 8,000 times today because I want to keep feeling that forever. Thank you Vicki and Erik for sharing our special day with us, for totally getting what we wanted, and for being generally awesome people.

This day was straight from “Heaven”. Absolutely no doubt. We all felt it, and now you have confirmed it in our memories forever. These photos are EXACTLY as I remember perceiving the moments. That is rare! To have been a part of that glorious day was a gift.
Vicki and Erik, I applaud your “capturing” the entire essence of this celebration! You must be so proud. You are amazing artists. Your “subjects”, Ty and Ken, are “movie star” material, but what you captured isn’t about just that. It’s much more. It goes deep, and you really “got it”! I am in awe. How lucky are these two to have the memories of this day, as interpreted through your perceptive eye, on record, on film, forever?
Looking at these photos, I feel the music…

Okay – I’m looking at them again and can I just say how much I love the one of our husbands (Husbands! ha!) dancing. The problem: yours is faking being a dork and mine is not …

Ken doing the Mike dance is definitely in my top ten moments from the wedding. I’m sure this will make repeat performances most drunken saturday nights. How lucky are we??!
