Carmina + Anthony – Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn, NY Engagement Session Photos
September 17th, 2010Carmina + Anthony. Looking over these pictures as I write this brings a few things to mind. One, that they look incredible together. Two, that they both look totally at ease and awesome in front of the camera, even with bicyclists trying to run us over when we got to close too the bike lane on the Brooklyn Bridge, and with a constant stream of strangers gawking at these two in the spotlight. When we first met them, not only did we fall in love with them right away, we also loved the story of how Anthony proposed to Carmina. They were with their two friends, Cara & Brian, and Brian was the only one who knew Anthony was about to propose. Being a great friend, Brian tried to pull farther along the bridge to give Carmina & Anthony some privacy, and Anthony lagged behind to do the same. Both Carmina and Cara were telling their guys that they needed to slow down or hurry up. When Anthony finally had Carmina distracted with taking pictures of the Manhattan skyline, he dropped to one knee right as she turned back around, and the rest is history, as they say! So obviously we were really excited to head into the city and meet them at a place that has such deep emotional meaning for both of them. It was a really great evening spent together, and as we were leaving, Carmina busted out a dozen chocolate chip cookies that she had baked for us, as a thank you, along with a really sweet thank you card. Seriously, it made an amazing day that much better (and the cookies were delicious). Without further adieu, here are some of our favorites from the night.
Wow! What can we say? We absolutely adore you both, and you brought genuine emotions that shine through in each and every shot. Also, you can bake us cookies anytime Carmina! We cannot wait for your wedding, and are both really excited to hear about all of the plans for the big day!
xoxo,
