What’s better than a gorgeous afternoon spent with a fun, attractive couple at Weir Farm in Wilton, CT? Yellow balloons and shoes! Weir Farm is one of our favorite spots for portrait sessions, and it is easy to see why – beautiful glowy sunlight, grassy fields, stone walls and majestic oak trees. We had an absolute blast with Trista & Brian, and loved that she wanted to bring yellow balloons to the shoot as props, that matched her adorable yellow shoes perfectly . We loved how they interacted together – they were laughing and smiling the entire time.

One of the most memorable moments of the day was when Brian informed us that his smile looks the best if he says “whiskey!” at the same time, and we couldn’t agree more – it really did look perfect. While there may have been some very slight eye rolling by Trista when we were made privy to this information, it made both of them laugh every time we said “whiskey!”. So much so that we use the story from time to time to get our other couples to smile and laugh, even throwing in a rogue “whiskey!” later on in the day as a happy little surprise. Certainly better than “say cheese!” we think

Trista & Brian, you guys are a hot couple, and we can’t wait to see you both again on your wedding day for some more of the magic!
