Erik and I met up with Susi and Carl this past weekend in their home city of New York. We had originally planned on meeting in Central Park, and it was raining slightly, so we decided to start at Grand Central until the rain subsided. It really is an amazing building with beautiful architecture and the hustle and bustle not found anywhere else in the United States.

It is hard to hold still while dipping, but they did it!

And they are simply cute together.

We went inside the Campbell Apartment and found this cool window. Being inside was like being transported to another time!

We headed outside and it was barely raining, so we decided to just go where the city took us. One of the more exciting aspects of our jobs is just moving forward and letting our surroundings inspire us

Erik pointed out the reflection in this window. We jump at the chance to capture moments like these.

As we headed up the street and paused for this shot, Susi and Carl let us know that this was the station they take every day to work. How serendipitous

Carl took us to this awesome building!! I didn’t think we would get in, but Carl gave them the “secret password” and the off limits location was ours!

The colors on these light panels kept changing. We were having a blast!

Susi and Carl thanks for being so amazing to work with! We had so much fun with you both and are looking forward to your wedding in less than one month!!

A little while back a friend of mine, the super talented Robin DIni, told me that she was pregnant! Along with this exciting news came the concern that she may not be able to photograph Kate + Erick’s wedding in the fall. Robin asked me to step in for her (and the couple agreed), and I gladly obliged. I know Robin was bummed that her due date fell so close to their big day, and after meeting the couple I know why! These two are incredibly sweet, laid back, and SO in love. I am really excited for their wedding and honored I get to be a part of it – along with the amazing Julia of Salty Grapes Photography. We are going to have a blast!

This past weekend Robin, Julia and I met up with Kate and Erick at Carriage Stone Farm in Northford, CT. What a cool find by Robin!

We had been told that one of the horses is a biter, although we weren’t sure which one. Therefore, Kate and Erick were slightly nervous about standing near this horse, but they did it anyway, and look pretty relaxed I think!

Laura has the most incredible red hair. I’m not gonna lie – I am envious!

We began at this fantastic castle in the park. It was chained off so we couldn’t get inside, and Erik was asking if they were any good at rock climbing.

Once they brought up Borat we knew we were going to have fun together!
