Laura + Chris – Glen Island Park, New Rochelle, NY Engagement Session Photos
April 27th, 2009Beautiful Couple + Incredible Weather + Awesome Location = Laura + Chris’s Engagement Session!
Enjoy the images ; )
Laura has the most incredible red hair. I’m not gonna lie – I am envious!
We began at this fantastic castle in the park. It was chained off so we couldn’t get inside, and Erik was asking if they were any good at rock climbing.
Once they brought up Borat we knew we were going to have fun together!
Did I mention how incredible the light was?
Laura is stunning!
More of that delicious light.
Spring is really here – the trees are blossoming.
Working the reflection. I showed Laura and Chris this image from the back of my camera and Chris said “That’s amazing! We are standing in mud and you get a fantastic image!”
They just fit.
We LOVE this shot!
Off to these cool rocks.
Love this shot Erik captured – they look like they are on another planet.
The clouds were fantastic!
The rock formation reminded me of something from the southwest.
This one that Erik captured makes me happy ; )
The ring!
Oh how I love romantic hanging trees.
Thank you Laura and Chris for a wonderful afternoon! We can’t wait for your wedding in a few weeks.
xoxo,
Vicki + Erik

Very cool session! I love all the shots with the trees – the ones with the blossoms and the weeping one, very romantic. The first one against the gate of the castle is fantastic too!

killer shoot guys! what a great location. love the composition of the shot with the blossoming tree, and you nailed that dramatic sky in that first shot on the rock formation.
