Hi everyone! It has been a while since we have blogged – this is the first post of 2010. We have many great things in the works and some big announcements to make soon. For now, Erik and I wanted to thank all of our amazing brides and grooms from 2009. We had an incredible year with you and feel so honored to have been a part of your wedding day! We also want to thank you for saying great things about us to WeddingWire, as we were recently selected to receive the WeddingWire 2010 Bride’s Choice Awardsâ„¢ for Photography.

Erik and I were so excited to see Amaris and Brendan and Sugar again!! Have I mentioned how we fall in love with our clients/friends? You may remember their engagement session last December, or their incredible wedding this past June. Amaris e-mailed me not too long after the wedding and was telling me how she wanted to wear it again. Their wedding day went by so fast, and there were so many more photos they wanted. One location was the little league baseball field where Amaris and Brendan met for the first time in grade school. Cute, huh? We had way too much fun, and I was so happy to get my Sugar-fix (I will find a way to clone her!).

Today Erik and I went to visit my cousin Gretchen and her husband Nacho (or, as I call him, Nachito) at Yale New Haven Hospital. Look at what they made!!
Willow is 3 days old – and gorgeous. I wanted to take her home with me!

She reminds me of one of those nesting dolls. So perfect.
