The marriage of Rafael and Chaquira was the most spiritual wedding we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Chaquira and Rafael are amazingly gifted, and were surrounded by truly talented friends and family. It was a ceremony, and reception, that made the hair on the back of our necks stand up from the sensory overload. From the colors of the day, to the vows, finishing with Chaquira’s stunning voice and Rafael’s beautiful piano playing, it was truly a day to remember. And these two were serenaded with speeches, songs and performances by friends that brought both of us to tears. And they just happen to look magnificent together “WOW” is all we have left to say!

Old Saybrook is such a beautiful little town, and to spend any time there will fill you with peace and a longing to stay just a little while longer to shake off the hustle and bustle of your busy life. And when you add in the marina and the wonderful Saybrook Point Inn, you get magic! So it was already a fantastic day, the sun was shining, and everything was perfect for the marriage of Marcia and Aaron. And these two made everything look even better! Not only were they incredibly easy to photograph, they were an absolute blast to hang out with (as was the case with their terrific e-session ). Marcia and Aaron, you make getting married look good. Erik and I didn’t quite know what to expect as we drove down to Tappan Hill for Ashley and Mike’s wedding, other than we knew we were going to have a great time photographing the two of them! We certainly weren’t disappointed and we fell in love with the venue, and the yummy food served there. Ashley and Mike’s friends were a riot, and we all enjoyed watching Mike and his Mother dance their pants off to “Great Balls of Fire” by Jerry Lee Lewis. Ashley looked simply gorgeous in her wedding dress, and the flowers and reception details were topped by one of the coolest wedding cakes we have seen in a while It was a splendid day all around, and we had a hard time leaving it all behind when everything was said and done.
