This has already been such an amazing year for us (and we aren’t even at the halfway mark for blogging), and the hits just keep on coming . Karli and Andy are truly a wonderful couple. They met at Dartmouth College where they fell in love and have been together ever since. Erik and I had the distinct pleasure of driving up to meet them near there for their fun e-session , and we had been looking forward to their wedding ever since. And what a wedding it was! From their deeply spiritual ceremony at Christ the King Lutheran Church, to their beautiful reception at the Candlewood Inn, it was a fabulous time all around . To top it all off, the brothers of the bride and groom were tearing up the dance floor with their rendition of “My Girl” (for Karli’s benefit of course), and a bit later to Lady Gaga as well. And the cherry on top for Erik and I was definitely the time we got to spend with Karli and Andy during their formal pictures. Karli looked simply stunning in her wedding gown, and Andy has a certain black and white movie star quality about him that translates extremely well to pictures. We loved every minute of our time on their wedding day, and were sad when it all had to end.

Incredible details. A cigar bar. Both sides of the Waterview. Musical performances by family. These are just a few of the things that helped bring together Liz and Joe’s absolutely perfect day! It was standing room only at their ceremony, and everyone in attendance was treated to a beautiful ceremony that brought tears to our eyes – Liz’s sister and brother-in-law sang and played the piano, and it was absolute magic . Their reception at the Waterview was no less spectacular, from just how amazing these two looked together, to Liz’s gorgeous Jewel by Priscilla of Boston wedding gown, to the fabulous details at each and every table (and the tables stretched from one end to the other, with home made limoncello at each place setting!), to the beautiful room lighting, finishing off with a hand rolled cigar bar (the guys were pretty happy ). It truly was a perfect day, and Erik and I were plenty busy capturing it all!

Dana and Les told us during their fabulous e-session that their wedding was going to be all about the food and their friends and family. Les is an accomplished BBQ man in his leisure time, and the stories he told us before the big day about his culinary exploits had our mouths watering. So we knew the food was going to be incredible, and it didn’t disappoint (steak with chimichurri, or pound cake baked into baby pineapples and topped with coconut ice-cream anyone? ). But more importantly, it was about Dana and Les, and all of the special people in their lives that made the day so fantastic. Their people are our kind of people (Erik and I even did a little dancing!), and the day reminded us of our wedding – good food, good people, good times. We left with smiles on our faces and a spring in our steps
