The awesomeness continues…

We had a LOT of time for portraits – oh how we love when Bride’s plan for so much time. We started off at Hartford CIty Hall. Because their wedding was on 4th of July, the place was empty. It was weird being there without a whole bunch of other bride’s and groom’s, and wedding parties milling around.

Well we made it back from a relaxing vacation and we have been trying desperately to get back on track! We are getting caught up finally and I have been dying to get these images ready for the blog for a while. I have been stressing (for days) over narrowing down these images to a reasonable amount, and well, I just couldn’t bear to leave any more out. Vicki spent the morning with the ladies getting ready. Here is Carla’s amazing wedding gown and her shoes.

On my end, it was a lot of goofing around, followed by a hurried 15-20 minutes of actual getting ready. Mike and one of his groomsmen had these fantastic vintage pocket watches that they had planned to wear during the ceremony. I especially liked the Yankees logo on the chain

Love this one of Carla and her Father as they waited patiently for the word that the ceremony was about to begin.

The church had gorgeous vaulted ceilings and incredible stained glass.

We love the way he is holding up Mike’s ring here.

And finally, the best part!

All of the details were beautiful, from the flowers and the cake down to the cool flower bed that the place cards were set upon!

We were lucky to have caught Carla having a quiet moment amidst all the commotion.
