Lisa + Dan – Wickham Park, Manchester, CT Wedding Photos
September 27th, 2008Phew am I behind in my blogging!!! I have a bunch of new things to blog and just haven’t had a minute to post. Here I am, one week later blogging about the awesome wedding of Lisa & Dan that I shot with RJT Pictures. What a fun bunch of people at this wedding! I started off with the guys – who were relaxing in their hotel room – playing cards and drinking beer!
Here is the groom dealing the cards:
Some of the groomsmen:
We had a few minutes before leaving for the church to get some group shots. Aren’t they handsome?
Off to Saint Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck, where I was able to capture this fun shot of the ladies walking into the church.
The ceremony was so sweet. Here is Dan putting on Lisa’s ring!
I love how Lisa’s veil is glowing in this one.
Just look at Lisa’s expression.
My favorite! Another great moment.
Off to the reception at Wickham Park. I fell in love with Wickham Park the last time I was there for Kerri & Jay’s Wedding a few weeks ago. It is just an amazing place for a wedding, or just to visit for that matter.
I bumped into this guy sporting the veil:
Lisa & Dan had these delicious cupcakes!!
Some shots of the newlyweds:
A little bit o’ sun…
I was curious what would happen if I converted a sun flare shot to black and white. I kinda like it! It feels like fog to me ; )
A bit abstract…the gardens at Wickham Park are incredible. I particularly like these plants (anyone know what they are called?)
First dance:
Here is Lisa singing to “Paradise by the Dashboard Light”.
There were SOOO many people dancing at this wedding! I found the groom’s parents outside sharing a moment ; )
Be sure to check out Rob’s blog for more!

Hey Vix!! Love the shot of the girls walking into the church and of the groom’s parents dancing in the last photo. I also like the priest blessing Lisa & Dan. As always, you rock, thank you for doing such a great job!!

Hey Vicki, Another beautiful wedding, that park is gorgeous. I believe the plants you like are an ornamental purple fountaingrass. I’m a big fan of ornamental grasses as well

Well I was about to say what my favorites are, but they’re the same as Rob’s – love the girls walking into the church and the priest doing the blessing. I like the first dance shot too – the look on Lisa’s face is so cute. We had a great time at this wedding with you, like always!!
