Bridget + Paulo – Waterview, Monroe, CT Wedding
April 29th, 2009I knew the first time I met Bridget and Paulo that they were one of those rare couples – the love just radiates between them. Saturday was an incredible day – sunny skies and 85 degrees. One of the most gorgeous April days we have ever witnessed. It was made even more perfect as Erik and I were able to witness the marriage of Bridget and Paulo.
Church: St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgeport, CT
Venue: Waterview, Monroe, CT

Bridget’s Bouquet was stunning!
And her dress was amazing.
I love shoes!

We love this shot of Bridget’s Mom putting on her garter. I love that Bridget’s dog is helping out too!

Erik captured this amazing shot of Bridget getting out of the car. This driver was so helpful and kind all day!
Bridget flashing Paulo her incredible smile while walking down the aisle.
Paulo was so excited!
Almost married!

Off to Twin Brooks Park in Trumbull, CT for some portraits.
The light was killer!! I love this image that Erik captured.
We love this classic portrait with the car.
Working the reflection! This red tree made it almost feel like fall.
The light doesn’t get much better than this ; )
Some details at The Waterview:
Cake!
I totally cried during the first dance ; )

I just had to post this last one – makes me smile every time I see it. Paulo accidentally got a bit of cake on Bridget’s nose when he was feeding her.
Bridget + Paulo thank you SO much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! We hope you have an amazing honeymoon in Hawaii and we can’t wait to see some pictures!
xoxo,

The photos are FABULOUS! Jakie sat on Dad’s lap and looked at all of them over and over. I asked him which ones he liked the best and they were of the wedding. He, of course, commented on the “police officer” (doesn’t get the chauffeur thing) as his favorite picture. I love the one after the wedding with that fabulous light framing their faces. Brava and Bravo. You are an amazing team and the couples should be over the moon with their images.
All of the engagement work is masterful and Jacob looks forward to more and more pictures on “Auntie Vicki’s Blog”. Yay!

What a way to start out the season! I love that shot with her getting ready to go in the church… the classic car, the old-looking florist building in the background, it looks like a postcard. The shots in the field with the long grass and that amazing light are just gorgeous. Fabulous job as always!!

Vicki and Eric,
Aloha! The pictures are amazing. You did a wonderful job. The day went by so fast; I hope I said thank you when you left. Thank you again for everything and being an important part of our wedding day.
Oh, and lets talk about how lucky you are to photgraph Dave!!!!! OMG! I’ve seen him in concert 13 times and one time we had 5th row center and Paulo caught me the pic! I love him and my DJ was supposed to play some of his songs…oh well.
