Diana + David – Saint Clements Castle, Portland, CT Wedding Photos
August 9th, 2011Vicki and I have gone into great detail in the past about why we love what we do for a living, and one of our favorite things is when we get to photograph siblings and friends of former brides. Diana + David’s was that much more fun for us since we also got to hang out with all of Diana’s family and friends again, including her sister Joanne and her husband Joe, and her friend Liz and her husband Joe. And while it is great to see familiar faces, the real joy was experiencing everything through Diana and David, and their exquisite wedding at St. Joseph’s Church, and their fabulous reception at Saint Clements Castle. We were excited for the day well before it arrived, and we weren’t let down in even the tiniest bit. Not only was Diana gorgeous in her Jewel by Priscilla of Boston Gown from White Dress by the Shore, accompanied by the most beautiful flowers from Flowers by Danielle, David looked magnificent in his suit, and together they looked like they stepped right out of the pages of a fashion magazine. They were relaxed and natural for our cameras, which was no small feat as the temperatures hovered around 95 degrees for most of the day – in fact the only hotness you see is these two being totally in love with each other on their wedding day. Everything was a perfect as it should be, and there simply wasn’t a moment throughout the day when we weren’t presented with something amazing to photograph. On with the pictures!

Thank you so much for sharing our special day with us! It’ so cool that our pictures are up on our one month anniversary…perfect timing!!
We just got done looking at the blog post after our one month anniversary dinner! You two are great; we felt so comfortable and had so much fun with the you! We’re so glad that we were able to have the two of you as our photographers; we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! From the engagement pictures to our wedding day, you were exceptional, and we had a blast with the two of you! We can’t wait to see more!
