We met up with Danielle and Mark at Penfield Reef in Fairfield, and they brought the awesomeness!! They are our first wedding of 2010, in February. We are now extra excited for their wedding, since we had so much fun together, and they gave us what every photographer loves – trust in our vision and process. It was one of the most beautiful summer days we have had this year. The sun was shining and everything was just right!! Danielle and Mark we hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did taking them

When I met Erin and her Mom way back when, Erin’s Mom shed a few tears while looking at our sample albums. I knew I wanted to shoot the wedding! Of course I love to think our work captures the emotion of a wedding day, and translates to it’s viewers, but I also know that a big part of why Mom was crying was because she was envisioning her beautiful daughter being in her wedding gown. I know I have said this before, but I am a super emotional person. I fall in love with all the couples (and their families) we are privileged to work with, and I cry at least once at every wedding. When I meet people as emotional as I am they instantly feel like family. Erin and Rob are both extraordinary people, with families as awesome as they are – warm, sensitive, intelligent and welcoming. Erik and I had such an amazing time capturing their perfect wedding day! Be prepared for copious tears of joy!!

Joanne and Joe have one of our most favorite proposal stories, ever! Joe is a lighting guru, and decided that the best way to get his point across was to use his trade to his advantage. So he set up the scene (to his success, obviously!) and had family watch guard over the generator and lights while he and Joanne just happened upon the display at the end of their stroll along the river walk in Shelton. Now they are getting married! Erik and I were excited to head back to one of our favorite spots to make pictures, and to capture these two looking gorgeous
