Kristine + Maciej – The Inn at Mystic, CT Wedding
May 28th, 2009Erik and I have been looking forward to spending the day with Kristine and Maciej for a while now. You may remember their engagement session from last December. Maciej is not only charming and sweet, but he is hilarious as well. Kristine is a classic beauty, with an unexpectedly awesome sense of humor (as you will soon see)! We knew that we were in for a special day with two people who utterly adore one another.
Venue: The Inn at Mystic, Mystic, CT
Florist: Hana Floral Design, Mystic, CT
Ceremony Music: CT String Trio, Mystic, CT
Video: Classic Video Productions, Kensington, CT
DJ: After Hours DJ, Enfield, CT
We decided to start off with this image, our favorite shot of the day. Kristine is simply stunning, and her eyes are, well, RIDICULOUSLY incredible!
A shot of the mansion at the Inn at Mystic, with nary a rain cloud in sight. Our luck was to hold out again throughout the day!
The dress. We love the light reflecting onto the ceiling above the chandelier.
Kristine’s bouquet resting against the antique piano in the Inn made for a great shot!
The bridesmaids helping to put on her dress.
And her maid of honor helping with her shoes.
Maciej, under strict orders not to see Kristine before the ceremony, can be seen here cracking up his groomsmen out of her sight!
Maciej’s boutonniere – all of the flowers were so gorgeous.
Kristine looks absolutely amazing in these two images. Just look at that smile – and those incredible lashes!
Another of our favorites from the day.
A shot of her beautiful veil.
Kristine was remarkably calm and composed, as you can see her here hanging out with the bridesmaids before the ceremony.
We love these shots – the flowers held by her bridesmaids during the ceremony, and one of the green Coach purses she gave to each of them beforehand!
An emotional moment during the reading of the vows.
Kristine’s mother smiling proudly.
Such a great expression on Maciej’s face, don’t you think? We think he looks pretty pleased that he gets to marry such a beautiful bride!
The rings!
And an emotional hug after the I do’s.
Another angle – we love the emotion in this one.
Married!!
Just some of the amazing details from the day.
Kristine and her girlfriends take a boxing class together – how fun is this shot? Sometimes I say I am taking “test” shots when in reality I am capturing some awesome candids.
We mentioned that Maciej is a funny guy right? Here he can be seen taking a slow-motion headshot to the face (no people were hurt in the making of this wedding moment). What a good “sport” huh?
Kristine sure is a “knockout” bride! ;p
We decided to take a break on these interesting rocks behind the Inn, and we love the way this shot came out!
Maciej looking handsome in his suit with Kristine smiling on.
Love this shot!
Another magical moment!
Love, love, love this one as well!
Unbeknownst to everyone, Kristine and Maciej had spent many hours carefully practicing a modified version of the final dance from the movie Dirty Dancing. Needless to say, the crowd went berserk after it, and Erik and I were stunned with what we had just witnessed These two were incredible!
One of the two best-men sharing a toast with the bride and groom.
We were having fun with Kristine and Maciej’s wedding rings to wrap up the end to a perfect and magical day.
Kristine and Maciej, it was truly a pleasure to be with you on your wedding day, capturing moments that we hope you will cherish forever. We had so much fun with you guys, it was ridiculous! We hope you have an amazing time in the Cook islands on your honeymoon, and know that the two of you will continue to bring smiles to those around you, wherever you go.
xoxo Vicki and Erik.

Vicki and Erik, I don’t even know where to begin…….these pictures are absolutely incredible. I’m not sure I could even pick a favorite! I absolutely love the pictures we took on the rocks after the ceremony, and the dance sequence makes me smile every time I look at it. The details you captured are amazing. I was so curious to see what you would do for the ring shot, and I have to say you couldn’t have possibly done anything more perfect. We will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives. I know I’ve said it before, but we are so thrilled that you were both there to capture this amazing day. We couldn’t have found photographers better than the two of you. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts.
xoxo Kristine and Maciej
PS: When we start a family, we’ll be calling you to photograph us with our little one(s).

How great to see the progression from the engagement session to the wedding. Such beautiful photos to be treasured memories for this beautiful bride and her new hubby. Are you going into a sideline doing ring photography?
) Creative, as always. Jacob will have two new sets of photos to want to see over and over again. He loves the pictures by Auntie Vicki and Uncle Erik because he loves to see such happy people.
