Allison & Rob are two warm, friendly, caring people that are blessed with great family and friends. It was a day we were greatly anticipating since their engagement session – Allison is a classic beauty with an extraordinary smile that we couldn’t wait to get back in front of the camera, and Rob is a handsome devil And once again, it was supposed to rain, but Erik and I brought along our steadfast luck, and the day proceeded with nary a drop in sight. Without further adieu, let the day begin!

Mirrors, in case you didn’t know, are one of our favorite things to work with. Any chance we can get to incorporate them into a shot, we take, and this was no exception. Allison was so thoughtful she even helped out with her bridesmaids hair that day!

You will remember Laura and Chris as the couple who allowed us to take those fantastic castle / park / beach shots not so long ago. Erik and I were looking forward to working with them again, as they are both so sweet and genuine that it was hard not to have them in front of the camera all the time. Well, we got our wish when the big day arrived, and we drove down to South Salem, NY to get the day started! As you will see, these two are made for one another, and the emotions of the day, carried through them and their friends and families seem to leap out of the pictures and grab our attention. These shots brought Erik and I back to our breakdancing days. We thought it was a dying art form, yet impossibly, this young man was not only doing “the robot’ earlier, but can be seen here spinning around the dance floor on his back!

We love weddings. We are wedding photographers, so maybe you guessed that! I am an emotional person, and it generally doesn’t take too much to make me cry. I cry at every wedding we attend – at least once. At Deanna + Jose’s wedding I set a personal record for the amount of times I have cried at a wedding. It was a beautiful, emotion filled day, and Deanna and Jose have enough love and joy to share with everyone.
